Jake Attree Drawing School

We are delighted that Royal Academy-trained artist Jake Attree will be leading a 5-day drawing school between 23 and 27 August based at the gallery but taking inspiration from the gardens and surrounding area. Jake has been a professional artist for over 30 years, and has evoked the landscape of York many times in his work. Jake has many years' experience as a teacher, and you are certain to be inspired in his relaxed, witty and charming company.

York College Contemporary Craft Graduates

Graduates of the Contemporary Craft BA course at York College will be exhibiting in the Studio between 5 and 10 July. Work on show includes kiln-formed works in recycled glass, ceramics, furniture design and wood carving.
