Carina Ciscato was born in Brazil but has worked in London for many years. She was assistant to Julian Stair 2000-03, since when she has worked from her own studio in south London. She uses porcelain, exploring the limits of the material when thrown, fraying and tearing the edges intentionally, to create pots that are ‘perfectly imperfect’.
