Billy Lloyd makes hand thrown porcelain tableware for use. Graduating from Camberwell College in 2006, he has been assistant to Julian Stair since 2007. Championed by Priscilla Carluccio in her ‘Few And Far’ shop on the Brompton Road, Billy’s work has been featured in many design-led magazines.

‘My aim is to combine a clarity of design with the nuances of making by hand. I use porcelain because of its density and strength when fired, the purity of its colour and ability to enhance form. I have taken these characteristics and applied a generosity of material and form ensuring that the objects are robust enough to endure the demands of habitual use.’
