Since 1995, Gillies Jones have been taking inspiration from their rural surroundings to make contemporary glass within the calm elegance of the Scandinavian glass-making tradition. Stephen Gillies blows the glass and Kate Jones creates patterns through sandblasting. They create 12 large collector’s pieces a year, and their work is in museums and private collections throughout Europe.
