Lesley King ‘paints with wool’, drawing inspiration from her native Lancashire landscape and the natural world in general. Her designs are laid down using dyed merino wool and then felted. ‘My particular interest is incorporating other fibres or fabrics during the felting process, combining colour, pattern and texture to transform the felt from a worthy material to a luxury textile’.
