Rachel Llewellyn specialises in handmade narrative jewellery. A promising young jeweller who graduated with a First in 2008, Rachel has been the recipient of a prestigious Goldsmith’s award. She is fascinated by secrets, stories and personal memories and uses these as the inspiration for her playful narrative jewellery.  ‘I am inspired by a variety of things - historical objects and metal-ware, tribal jewellery, sacred objects such as talismans, amulets, keepsakes and lockets; all in all, objects touched by people and the stories of their lives… Each piece of my jewellery is in essence a contemporary British talisman. It speaks of nostalgia, memories of work and play, and stories of people’s lives, both past and present.’
